My Opinion About GayBlindDateSex:
If there is one thing that Gay Blind Date Sex has going for it, then it's the fun-filled reality action. Fortunately, with hot guys and evenings that typically end with equally hot sex, this site has a lot more going for it.
The moment you enter into the members' area of GayBlindDateSex you being to realize that the site is part of a much larger network. Fortunately, if hot men and reality-themed hardcore is what you're after, then you're in luck. The AllGayRealityPass includes access to 10 reality sites, 22 bonus sites, live cams, video-on-demand and numerous gay theaters. The amount of content is excellent, but even better is that each and every additional site is gay.
The site design is a little dated in my opinion and the navigation is really quite basic. There is a page-top menu where you'll find all the bonus content, there is latest staff picks and ratings in a news feed and there are the most recent updates that you can choose. There is also a keyword search, but there isn't an option to sort the content by type of guy, for example. In any case, navigation could be improved, but it's not that bad.
Updates are coming at least once a week and already you'll discover 98 episodes. This is a fine amount of content, but the site was launched in 2004 and one would expect double, if not triple this amount for a site that has been around for nearly five years. It looks like they might be removing older, lower-quality content and replacing it with new episodes. I didn't get the feeling that older material was simply being recycled. Nevertheless, only 34 of the videos are available in HD quality.
All the movies come with sets of average snapshot photos that you can view online or download in Zip files. There are Flash and WMV streams and multiple qualities. You can also download the 20-minute films in full or as shorter clips. The best video quality is 1068x600, but the image isn't quite as sharp as I'd have hoped. It's clear enough, but the lighting isn't always the best and the camera is a bit shaky at times. Still, the videos are fun. Each potential date is interviewed separately and it's here where we find out whether or not the two will be compatible. They go on dates, which are edited and cut short. The fact is that these guys are hooking up for sex and not for romance and it's not typical that any couple doesn't get along because, well, they love sex!
Final Verdict:
Gay Blind Date Sex offers some hot content with a reality-style. There are a few known porn guys around here, and so while a majority of these guys are 'real' amateurs, there are a good number of professionals, as well. The quality isn't bad, but I think that for a site which has been around for as long as this one, there should be a lot more blind dates available.
